Thermon's specialty is heat tracing, the application of steam, fluid or electric heat to piping, tanks, instrumentation and other equipment. With the invention of "heat transfer cement" in 1954, the company has grown to offer a variety of steam and electrical heat tracing products and services used in many different industries around the world. With global manufacturing and warehouse facilities, Thermon is capable of supplying heat tracing products to meet the needs of customers around the world. These state-of-the-art production facilities incorporate numerous patented manufacturing processes utilizing computer-controlled equipment, laser technology and infrared imagery. In keeping with the requirements of ISO 9001, all manufactured goods are tracked from raw materials procurement through production. Additionally, all products must pass extensive quality control and performance tests prior to shipment.

    Cata-Dyne™ gas catalytic explosion-proof heaters are available in 23 different models with BTU ratings ranging from 1,000 to 48,000 BTU/hr (0.3 kW - 14.0 kW). In addition, these heaters can be banked together to obtain any BTU (kW) rating desired.
